Oh, I know perfectly well why I’m in poor health and start to breathe heavy just at the thought of getting my ass off the couch, but that’s not related to my tiredness. I sleep poorly, in bouts of about 3 hours at a time, and no matter how little or much I’ve done physically during the day the amount of sleep I get doesn’t change.
That sounds like me (except that I try for 6-8hrs at night). I just don’t sleep well (and I certainly don’t wake up well lol).
Those bouts of sleep, could it be sleep apnoea?
That’s what the docs claimed at first, but nope, not even CPAP-machine works, so it can’t really be that.
You could have central sleep apnea instead of obstructive. If that’s the case a CPAP wouldn’t really do the trick. I can’t remember the name of it, but there is a special CPAP-like machine that is used for central sleep apnea. Have you ever had a sleep study performed?
Aye. They didn’t find anything other than that even when fully asleep I was in deep sleep only about 70% of the amount that a normal person would’ve been in that time and that’s a big part of why I’m so tired. No mention of them finding anything other worth mentioning in the written summary afterwards.
Getting out of bed ITS exercise!
