Flockacox So the people voted in favor of Brexit 2ish years ago? And they are still trying to exit? Mister_B_Posters Yeah, so to keep it short, a deal has been agreed between uk and eu, though many are not pleased as it wouldn’t mean full separation from eu. Parliament will still need to approve it, which they likely won’t, so God knows what happens next. People are trying to campaign for a second vote but that likely won’t happen either. It’s all been very badly managed, really. Flockacox Do you think England should separate from EU? Mister_B_Posters The whole brexit, or “British exit” would not only apply to England, but to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland too. The Republic of Ireland will stay in EU. My heart says yes, but my head says no. There are rules they set that are good for us, but there are also many rules that are bad and should’ve been changed and I feel it is important to understand and respect both sides of the argument instead of covering your ears and not listening which I think some people are doing. FFrost No, you are only allowed to pick one side and then argue with anyone who disagrees with you. Rev. Analbumcover It’s complicated, to say the least. Flockacox Seems very complicated and NOT black and white as some make it seem. Hope the best for Brexit either way it goes Mister_B_Posters Yeah, and another thing is that more people have been applying for Irish passports – that way you can still have the benefits of free movement etc. I think I read that upto 10% of the population (I’m not quite sure if that’s UK or just England) are eligible to obtain them; you have to either have been born in Ireland, or have an Irish parent/grandparent. I do, so I could do that at some point, depending on how everything goes I guess. Michael Mason They gave us the vote, more voted to leave, simples.
