i dont understand how some colleges even need donations when they make 50k+ per student. and have thousands of students

You clearly don’t understand what they pay their administration. When I was worked for SSU, we would do work on campus owned off campus properties that the administration lived in. They were given company cars, huge salaries, and houses to live in (even though their huge mansions in the Sonoma hills were only 20 minutes away).

Professors make good money, mucky muck administration makes way way more. It’s truly disturbing

There was a proposal at my college that every student pay another $50 or so a semester so that students on the SGA could get paid for what they do. Of course, it was proposed by the SGA and it is a stupid proposal. That’s literally $10k a semester just for 4-6 people.

At the University in my town, the dude who tells people how to throw a ball around gets paid more than $5 million per year. Meanwhile the professor that created the 3D imaging for ultrasounds gets paid $82k per year.

While i get what youre saying, i just want to add/point out that throwing a ball around brings in way more money for the school than a machine that creates 3d images of ultrasounds…
