Driving on thin ice. Should follow the Ice Road Truckers rules.

I have been fortunate enough to visit Yellowknife, NWT, Canada in the winter. Venturing out onto the Great Slave Lake with at least a metre of ice underfoot was quite an experience. Brush off the top layer of snow and the ice is clear with lots of fine cracks. Even saw a fish frozen in the ice.

    I was expecting this music.

Also… dude. It’s dead. You ain’t getting it back without a crane, and after that it’s not worth fixing.

Had my own experiences driving on ice roads , Northern Alberta and BC; once you get over the sound that the ice makes while you’re on it, it’s actually quite smooth, until March/April/ May.
